Odisha Nirman Kusum Yojana 2022 for Construction Worker’s Children

CM Naveen Patnaik has launched Nirman Kusum Yojana 2022 for the children of construction workers in Odisha. Under this scheme, the state government. will provide financial assistance to the children of workers so that they can pursue technical education. According to the layout of the scheme, the government. has deposited a total sum of Rs. Rs 1.09 crore directly into the bank accounts of 1878 recipients for previous academic sessions.

The Odisha government had launched this Nirman Kusuma scheme at Jaydev Bhawan at a state-level function on October 6, 2018. The Odisha State Labor and Employees Insurance Department and the Department of Technical Education and Skills Development have organized This function.

Children of construction workers would receive financial assistance for education from the government. industrial training institutes (ITIs), polytechnics and graduates. CM has also announced that it will increase financial support for girls’ education by 20% at each stage.

Odisha Nirman Kusum Yojana 2022

The Odisha government has initiated Nirman Kusum Yojana to provide financial assistance for obtaining education at Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) and diplomas at state technical institutions. Marking the official launch of this scheme, CM has provided financial assistance to over 500 children of construction workers registered with the Odisha Construction Workers and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board.

After the introduction of the new Nirman Kusum Yojana, the children of construction workers who are pursuing their ITI education will now get Rs. 23,600. Children of construction workers who are pursuing diploma studies at state technical institutions will now receive Rs. 26,300. The State Govt. has credited a lumpsum amount of 1.06 Billion Rupees directly into the bank accounts of 1,878 beneficiaries from the previous financial year.

Nirman Kusum Yojana Odisha Official Launch

CM @Naveen_Odisha launched Nirman Kusuma Yojana to provide financial aid to construction workers and fully fund their children’s education in ITI, Polytechnic and Government Diploma. He also announced to increase financial aid for girls’ education by 20% at each stage.

CM Naveen Patnaik of Odisha has announced that he will increase the ex gratia amount for registered construction workers. In case of natural death, the amount of compensation increases from Rs. 1 lakh to Rs. 2 lakhs In case of unnatural death, the compensation amount has been raised from Rs. 2 lakhs to Rs. 4 lakhs Financial assistance for education and health for girls of registered workers has increased by 20%.
